Commencement 2001 LIVE

As NUS celebrated Commencement 2001, the CIT was at the frontline, bringing audiences the latest Commencement activities to their desktop through live webcasting.

For the very first time, webcasting began 45 minutes before each Commencement ceremony began. Audiences watched live as the CIT's Roving Camera Team captured the excitement and emotional moments with live interviews from graduands, parents, staff and others as they arrived at the University Cultural Centre.

This year's Commencement ceremonies featured detailed coverage of the events. In another first, CIT's multimedia team webcasted with five cameras, as compared to using three cameras in previous years.

Other special features included messages from the Deans and other heads, a video tribute to graduands titled "Reflections" and a video montage encapsulating the main events and activities leading to Commencement 2001.
