BMMC 2002 Certificate Award

Congratulations to participants who were awarded the Basic Modular Multimedia Course 2002 Certificate. They are:

Participants were accessed, and required to pass at least two of the following modules:

  • Single camera production
    Techniques of shooting alone as well as with a team, how to control and adjust audio and lighting and write edit lists for a video production.
  • Video Lighting
    Indoor and out-door lighting for camera work that can be applied to video production or two camera event coverage.
  • WebCast
    How to stream video into the intranet for ‘live’ and archived lectures.
  • Two Camera Production
    Techniques, methods and skills or working with a two camera configuration system for recording of interactive seminars and faculty events.
  • Digitization
    Converting video and audio materials to digital formats using the facilities of the Multimedia Development Lab (MDL).
  • Documentation
    Techniques, methods and routines in using the Documentation Facility for dubs, duplication, transfers in formats and packaging for CDs.
  • Nonlinear Video Editing
    Techniques and skills in using mid-range nonlinear editing software (Adobe Premier) and hardware (DV Storm).

BMMC 2002, designed to upgrade the expertise of NUS technical officers in key areas of current educational technology, was conducted during 6 – 17 May 2002.
