Internal Blended Learning Online Courses (iBLOCs) are face-to-face classes with an online component. A major subset of the iBLOCs are flipped classrooms.
“The flipped classroom is a pedagogical model in which the typical lecture and homework elements of a course are reversed. Short video lectures are viewed by students at home before the class session, while in-class time is devoted to exercises, projects, or discussions.”

CIT works closely with the Centre for Development of Teaching & Learning (CDTL) and academic staff - the subject-matter experts - to produce blended learning courses.
The iBLOCs consist of modules aimed at those waiting to matriculate, modules of various class sizes and even modules which involve all students in NUS.
NUS offers MOOCs on Coursera. This platform allows anyone to take courses from leading universities and educational institutions around the world.
Courses are offered for free to all, with some courses offering a paid certificate option.
CIT facilitates the production of MOOCs in NUS, hand-in-hand with the academic staff who helm these massive efforts.
