major conference will explore global issues in distance
and distributed learning, with a special emphasis on issues
of concern to Pacific Rim universities. The theme for
the conference is "Global Knowledge Enterprise
– Learning Without Walls". The three
sub-themes of the conference are:
• Distance Learning and Economic Development
• Infrastructure and Technology Trends in Distance
Learning
• Learning Strategies for Distance Programs
Co-sponsored by the National
University of Singapore and the Association
of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), this conference
will bring together leading distance learning experts
from academia, business and government from around the
world. A primary objective is to foster new international
distance learning projects and partnerships around the
Pacific Rim. |
